Ultrasonic Cavitation

What is ultrasonic cavitation treatment?

Ultrasonic cavitation, also called ultrasound cavitation or ultra cavitation, is an FDA-approved, nonsurgical fat reduction procedure that uses ultrasound waves to destroy fat cells in targeted treatment areas—typically the upper arms, belly, love handles, thighs, or chin.

It’s often presented as a body contouring alternative to liposuction, but unlike lipo—which can produce optimum results with a single procedure—you’ll need multiple (as in, up to 12) ultrasonic cavitation treatments to see changes. You’ll also have to wait up to three months for your lymphatic system to flush the dead cells before your final results will be apparent.

Each ultrasonic cavitation session takes about an hour. I will glide the cavitation machine’s handheld probe over the desired area, delivering low-frequency sound waves that “vibrate” the walls of the fat cells until they burst and turn into free fatty acids the body can expel. The treatment itself is painless (it’s even been called relaxing) and requires little to no downtime.

Radio-Frequency Body Contouring

What is Radio-Frequency Body Contouring

Radio-frequency body contouring is also called skin tightening. Radio-frequency body contouring tightens the skin, removes fat and improves tone without any downtime or pain at all. This pain-free procedure reduces cellulite, boosts collagen production and gets rid of fatty deposits that fail to go with exercise. If you have flabby skin, a post pregnancy tummy, fine lines or wrinkles, saddle bags or a sagging bum, radio-frequency body contouring is meant for you.

Benefits of Radiofrequency for Body Contouring

The main benefits of radio-frequency body contouring are:

  • Limited bruising

  • Achieves fat reduction and tightening of the skin in a single step

  • Coagulates blood vessels that reduces skin injury risks

  • Less painful than conventional body contouring procedures

  • Patients can experience results fast

  • Swelling reduces within one week

  • Produces results faster than other non-surgical procedures

Difference between Radio-frequency Body Contouring and Other Procedures

The main distinction between radio-frequency body contouring and other liposuction procedures is that this technology dissolves fat cells and tightens collagen from the patient’s skin. This procedure results in a natural contoured body and reduces the need to go for extensive body contouring and body shaping procedures.

How Does Radio-frequency Body Contouring Work?

Radio-frequency gets through your skin layers and selectively heats the skin tissue where collagen fibers are rooted. The heating causes a contraction of collagen fibers, shrinks fat cells and stimulates fibroblast cells to produce elastic fibers and collagen. The result is a smooth, tight and youthful looking skin. Stubborn cellulite is less noticeable and fat cells are reduced.

This procedure is less invasive than liposuction and patients feel little to no sensation while under the electrodes and applicator.

What is the Radiofrequency Treatment Like?

Radio-frequency treatment is relaxing. Each part of your body will be treated for a short period of time.

When Can You Expect Results?

Skin becomes smoother and the muscle tone become more visible. Attending multiple sessions may provide maximum results.

Candidates of Radio-frequency Body Contouring

The best persons for this procedure are those who are unable to lose weight through exercise and diet or have stubborn fat in particular parts of the body like the thighs, hips, buttocks and abdomen.

If your efforts to remove unwanted fat have failed, you don’t need to be discouraged any longer. At Mia Rose Body Sculpting, we have significant experience helping patients attain their ideal image. Wood Therapy (Lymphatic Drainage Massage)

What is Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic drainage is a therapeutic massage treatment. The massage uses very light pressure and long, gentle, rhythmic strokes to increase the flow of lymph and reduce toxins in your body.

The lymph system is part of your body's immune system and helps fight infection. Lymph itself is a clear, slightly yellow fluid. It transports nutrients and oxygen to cells, collecting toxins on the way and flushing them out through the lymph nodes. You have around twice as many lymph vessels as blood vessels in your body. However, unlike blood, which is pumped around by your heart, the lymph system has no pump. The pressure from your blood vessels and movement from your muscles push the lymphatic fluid around.

What is lymphatic drainage massage good for?

Lymphatic drainage massage can have a beneficial effect on your general health. Because lymph is key to keeping your immune system working properly, improving the flow and drainage of lymph around the body is good for you in lots of ways.

Lymphatic drainage can:

  • reduce the chance of you suffering from minor colds and viruses; it helps your body fight off infection, and speeds up healing and recovery from illness

  • help reduce water retention; for instance, because the lymph system has no pump, if you sit for a long time without moving, the lymph can't flow easily — this is why you may experience swollen feet or fingers

  • boost weight loss, as improving the lymphatic system will improve your metabolic rate, which helps you burn calories more efficiently.

Lymphatic drainage massage can improve your skin texture by:

  • reducing swelling, puffiness and blotches

  • giving you clean, healthy pores

  • speeding up healing in scar tissue, so it may, for example, improve the appearance of stretch marks

  • helping to reduce cellulite; the massage increases blood flow and circulation to the affected areas, which helps the body break down the toxins which cause dimply skin.

Lymphatic drainage massage may leave you really thirsty. We've seen people who are not usually water-drinkers reaching for bottles of Aquafina like it's free champagne!

Vacuum Therapy

What is vacuum therapy?

Vacuum therapy is a noninvasive massaging technique that helps to lift your skin via a mechanical device equipped with suction cups. While it originally entered the market during the 1970s as a way to help treat burn scars, this treatment has evolved into a nonsurgical butt lift method.

Vacuum therapy is also known as vacuotherapy and depressomassage. Aside from purportedly offering similar effects to those of a surgical butt lift, the procedure is also sometimes used to mimic a traditional breast lift.

Certain forms of vacuum therapy are also used for the treatment of cellulite.

One such therapy works by reducing swelling in the affected skin to help decrease the look of cellulite dimples.

Does vacuum therapy work to lift and sculpt the buttocks?

At its core, vacuum therapy offers deep massaging effects. The procedure may work for buttock toning by:

  • decreasing muscle tension

  • increasing lymphatic flow to remove toxins and water retention

  • exfoliating the skin, thereby making it smoother and more toned in appearance

  • stimulating the middle layers of skin for increased toning effects

  • decreasing the appearance of cellulite

When performed for several sessions on a weekly basis, you may notice that your skin is tighter and more toned. This can provide the appearance of a butt lift.

Ear Candling

Ear candling involves placing a hollow candle (made from a fabric tube soaked in beeswax) in the external auditory canal. The candle is then lit and burned for about 15 minutes. After the procedure is finished, a brown waxy substance, believed by ear candling practitioners to be a mixture of ear wax, debris, and bacteria, is left in the candle stub. It is used mainly to remove ear wax, though it has also been used to try to relieve sinus pain, cure ear infections, help relieve tinnitus and vertigo, and even strengthen the brain!
